Well written, slightly avant-guarde treatment of a truly shameful story of corporate greed and misinformation. The action flows nicely from scene to scene, told through the eyes of one Radium Girl and her struggles to get justice for her condition. The Radium Girls case led to a major reformation in industrial safety laws and corporate responsibility. An entertaining read—I would like to see a production someday.

We are working on this right now and are really enjoying it. We are doing it with a cast of 11 and everybody has at least one role that they can dig into.

Great read! Interesting how many historical events and stories we have never heard about! Our performing arts program is performing this show in November. I can't wait to see how it plays out.

I did enjoy this play for the most part. But after reading Kate Moore's factual telling of the girl's story I feel that the fictional aspects let it down. I would love to see it rewritten with this aspect in mind. Also I found it lacked the emotion, that Moore's book had, which could have been added with minor changes. On the whole it was thoroughly enjoyable and would make a good play, but would be a great play with emotion and facts added. I don't want to say here what as that would spoil it for those that haven't read it. But for what it is, a take on the situation - it is a good read. I would recommend reading it after reading Moore's book. It puts a more personal angle to it.

This is a compelling story of real women beginning about 1918 and lasting well into the 1960's, who painted radium on watch and clock dials. Unbeknownst to them, they were exposed to fatal and damaging radiation poisoning. The companies they worked for knew of the dangers and would not admit it. This book follows the personal stories of many women who suffered unbelievable pain and many who died.

Sneaky: title should read "radium girls: a play based on the book"

I really enjoyed this book. I’m 57 and have never heard of these women and what they went through till I saw something about it on Facebook and I had to see what this was all about.

This is a great play and great subject. The play is suitable for high school or college students. It gives a good discription of the Radium Painters tradgedy. People who enjoy this play should also read "These Shinning Lives" which is also about the radioum dial painters but puts them in their early 20-30s. The sorrow and courage of these women in 1920's America is amazing.
